Josh Marks is a freelance documentary and portrait photographer working across the Midlands and the South West. His practice combines contemporary aesthetics with a raw, original approach. Whether working with large- or small-scale clients, his core values remain the same: hard work, efficiency, and meticulous attention to detail.

By communicating with clients well before and throughout each shoot, Josh builds trust between the subject and the camera, creating authentic images that foster a stronger connection with the viewer. His work explores themes of identity, fashion, and documentary photography, with a particular interest in community issues.

Working across both analogue and digital formats—including 35mm film, 120 film, and digital medium format—Josh is equally comfortable with each, adapting his process to bring every client's vision to life.Work
